Beach house in Orebic on Peljesac
This Orebic beach house sits on the waters edge on the Peljesac Peninsula, known for its beautiful coastal and mountain scenery peppered with cypress, pine and almond trees, a range of outdoor activities are on offer in the area which is also popular with windsurfers , With its’ terrace shaded by trees close to a pebble beach, this property provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea.
Guests can park their car on the lane near the beach house and enter by walking down stairs to the beach, through the garden and to the front door. The apartment consists of a separate kitchen with shower room to one side, a spacious lounge with sea/garden view and a door leading through to a double bedroom also with sea/garden view. Both the lounge and bedroom have patio doors leading out onto the garden.
Adjacent to the
beach house is the villa (
PJ010), a former sea captains house, capable of sleeping up to eight persons. Both properties could be rented together to sleep 10 – 12 persons subject to availability.
Orebic, one of the largest towns on the Peninsula is home to a maritime museum and a Franciscan monastery dating back to the 15
th century as well as a pretty sea shore promenade with a selection of restaurants and bars. Across the water from
Orebic and accessible by a 20 minute car ferry or a 10 minute passenger boat lies the
Island of Korcula with the town of the same name, said by many to be the birth place of Marco Polo. Guests can explore the cultural treasure of Korcula old town or take a car and take a scenic drive around this pretty island, one of Croatia ’s greenest.
