This large Istrian stone villa with pool, built from reclaimed stone and decorated in a  traditional country style is set in peaceful, rural surroundings just at the edge of the sleepy village of Crklada. Complimented by a well-maintained lawned garden which adds to to the tranquil atmosphere, the villa would suit a large family/two families or a group of friends wishing to get away from the pressures and fast pace of modern day life.

The villa is entered from a small country lane through large metal gates into a gravel driveway located to the side of the villa. The garden, boasting an array of Mediterranean plants, features a swimming pool, BBQ and shaded outdoor eating terrace. Entrance to the house is from the garden directly into an open plan kitchen diner lounge area decorated in true Istrian style with exposed stone walls and oak beamed ceilings. Doors from the spacious lounge area open straight onto the side terrace with BBQ area. The ground floor also houses a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom as well as a separate utility room. A staircase from the lounge leads to the upper floor which features two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and one twin room with en-suite shower room.

The villa is located in an ideal position from which to explore the surrounding area such as the medieval hill top towns of Motovun and Groznjan. Porec with its impressive UNESCO protected Basilica is only a short drive away, as is the town of Novigrad where the Lapidarium Museum houses a unique collection of “Stone Monuments. Also worth a visit are the Brijuni islands, a declared National Park and conservation area, the Roman amphitheatre in Pula aswell as a day trip to Venice. Car hire is recommended at this property.
