One bedroom apartments with shared pool in Podcetrtek, Slovenia
This pretty tourist estate is located in the country village of Podcetrtek in southern Slovenia which is easily accessible from both Ljubljana and Zagreb airports. The property is situated in the midst of a deer farm who roam free around the estate and are usually the first ‘hosts’ arriving guests will meet on their way to reception. The property features an onsite shop selling local produce (jam, salamis, wine). The on site restaurant is particularly handy for guests as the food served is of a high standard and represents excellent value for money. Main courses are priced at around Euros 6 – Euros 12 per dish and range from venison dishes (goulash, sausages, medallions), pasta, other meat dishes. Wines start from around Euros 12 per bottle. There is also an outdoor pool with decking where guests can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy the country view from their sunbed. A massage room and sauna are also available on the premises. Massages are charged around Euros 25 for a 30 minute massage.
The property features a handful of one bedroom apartments housed in one of the on site lodges. Each apartment consists of an open plan kitchenette / diner /lounge with sofa bed. There is a separate double bedroom and shower room. Some apartments have balconies and there is an additional supplement of £14 per week for an apartment with balcony.
Areas of interest nearby include Terme Olimje aqua park and wellness centre which offers over 3000sqm of water services and features a wave pool, water slides and a children’s programme of activities as well as massage, saunas, spa and beauty centre, fitness studio and solarium. A horse riding centre, a golf course as well as a number of vineyards are also located near the apartment. The cities of Ljubljana and Zagreb are both easy day trips from Podcetrtek.
