This spacious contemporary two bedroom apartment is situated on the waterfront in the lively town of Vela Luka.  This apartment would suit a family or group of friends looking for a base to explore the Island Korcula; on its western tip, Vela Luka has numerous restaurants and bars and is surrounded by quiet coves with lovely beaches.

With views out across the harbour, the apartment is reached by stairs up from the quayside to the building entrance at the rear, and then 2 flights of stairs up to the third floor.  Guests enter the apartment in to a corridor that has two double bedrooms, one of which has an en suite shower room. There is also a separate family bathroom. A further door from the corridor leads into a large bright open plan kitchen / diner / living room with patio doors opening out onto a balcony with sea views and outside dining area.

From Vela Luka guests can take excursions to the tranquil Islands of as Proizd, Osjak, Gubesa and Kamenjak where it is possible to sunbathe on white pebble beaches and swim in beautiful crystal clear waters.  Korcula has been inhabited since at least 6500 BC and evidence of this can be found outside the town of Vela Luka at the Neolithic caves of Vela Spilje.  Korcula with its mixture of rolling hills and rugged mountainous terrain, is considered to one of greenest of Croatia’s Islands, and Vela Luka, set in a large bay, is its main port with ferry services operating to Split, Hvar and Lastovo.
