'Croatia is a jewel': Property developer

Croatia is a top tourist destination and its property market is seeing steady growth as the mature markets in western Europe become saturated through over supply, according to a top hotel and property developer.
"Croatia is a jewel; it's a market people have talked of for years and rightly so, it has always been a top tourist destination popular with many nationalities, explained David Hunter of Braemore Group in an interview with Travel Daily News.
Apartments and villas in Croatia are "very in fashion" and the market "has a sustainable top end tourist market to cope" with continued investment.
"It's accessible to most of Europe, a short ferry for the Italians a drive for most of mainland Europe and it's a sailing haven," he explained.
Mr Hunter noted that the Croatian government has "been very clever in not allowing there main asset, the coast line to be ruined by thoughtless developments".
