Croatia recommended by travel expert
28 August 2008
Croatia is rich in culture and boasts excellent cuisine in its restaurants, an expert claims.
Marketing manager at Balkan Holidays, Chris Rand, says "delicious fresh fish" is available throughout the year and across the whole region, not just Croatia, while he claims food in hotels has also markedly improved recently, according to TTG Live.
In addition, Mr Rand states there is a plethora of "upmarket" accommodation for visitors to choose from, including a range of five-star properties in Dubrovnik.
He suggests travelling to Croatia can also be comfortable and classy, with various options available other than budget airlines.
"There are other charters, national carriers and British Airways," Mr Rand explains.
Meanwhile, a travel writer for Bloomberg recently recommended tourists visit Dubrovnik, describing it as "vibrant and affordable" and praising the "raw beauty and aquamarine drama" of its coastline.
James Harper added the city has "medieval chic", complimented its residents for their friendliness and extolled the virtues of locally produced wine, calling it "delicious" claiming it is "ideal for summer nights".
