Get pampered in Croatia
20 November 2008
Croatia offers many spa and pampering options, making it the ideal place for a relaxing holiday this winter.
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board states many tourists to the country are looking for peace and relaxation, which Croatia certainly offers.
Spa and wellness facilities in the country focus on "natural elements, minimalistic decor and selected music, which creates an atmosphere of refined calmness with a view over the turquoise sea", the source states.
A wide variety of treatments are offered in the country, including saunas and cold and hot baths in Turkish and Finnish styles, accompanied by eastern massage and aromatherapy.
The tourist board advises that, regardless of the length of stay, visitors make use of the fresh Mediterranean air and build up strength and energy in the sea or at the gym.
People who like more gentle exercise can take a walk by the sea or simply relax in the spas.
Travellers to Dubrovnik can also take advantage of the Winter Card, which offers discounts at restaurants and in shops.
