Low-cost calls available to and from Croatia

A phone company has revealed that it is introducing low-cost calling to and from Croatia.
The news will be good news to people planning to visit Croatia as it will make it both easier and cheaper for them to phone home during their stay.
Hjalmar Winbladh, co-founder and president of Rebtel, the company providing the service, said: "We started Rebtel because we wanted to do something good for the consumer - connect the Internet and standard mobile phones so people wouldn't have to pay the operators' rip-off rates for international calls."
The service is free to people who register for a Rebtel account and is compatible with any mobile phone, with users not having to worry about changing their current mobile plans.
People travelling around the Balkans may find it easier in other respects as the national airline of Serbia recently announced it has started new flights to Pula in Croatia.
