New air link between Croatia and Belgrade

Serbian tourists are to benefit from a new air link between the capital Belgrade and Pula on the southern Dalmatian coast in Croatia.

Jat Airways is to offer flights from July 3rd to August 31st this summer, twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays.

Flights from Pula will depart at 15:10 local time on Thursdays and 11:50 local time on Sundays, while take-off from Belgrade will be 12:50 local time on the weekday and 08:55 local time at the weekend.

Tickets sales have already begun for the new route and prices start at 78.50 euros (£62.55) for one way travel and 139.50 euros for a return ticket, after tax.

Fares will increase by 4.50 euros from July 14th due to new security taxes imposed by Belgrade airport.

Meanwhile, the BBC reports the new Croatia Airlines route between Zagreb and Pristina has been welcomed by authorities in Kosovo, according to RKT TV.

Agron Mustafa, acting managing director of Pristina Airport, said they will try to increase the number of travellers to and from the two locations.
