Nokia to open Zagreb office

Nokia is to open an office in Zagreb this year and plans to grow the internet services on offer for mobile phone users in the country.
The Finnish firm will open the office in the beginning of June and it will become part of the Nokia Alps Adriatic region, which also includes Slovenia, Switzerland, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria.
Martin Pedersen, Nokia Alps, Adriatic director, said; "Nokia's goals in Croatia for the upcoming period match the company's general goals: to maintain the leading global position in mobile phone production and to become a respectable provider of internet, communicational and multimedia services."
New services on offer will make things easier for holidaymakers who need to keep in touch with home when they are there, staying in hotels or Croatian villas.
With Nokia's new office, the firm pledges its commitment to the country of Croatia and once again backs up the claim that it is an emerging country and a fine holiday destination.
