Property market 'performing well in Dubrovnik'
15 September 2008
Dubrovnik's property market is set to perform well despite the current economic situation, an expert has claimed.
Managing director of overseas property website TheMoveChannel.com, Dan Johnson, said the "super-rich" may help to keep certain sectors buoyant, with the Croatian "Adriatic gem" likely to be strongly considered by this group.
The need to locate the next "property hotspot" is said to be of prime importance to High-Net-Worth-Individuals (HNWI's), while they are also anticipated to search for stylish destinations in a good location.
Mr Johnson claimed global trends indicate the extremely wealthy will "shape the future of the global property market".
He added: "With many worldwide economies continuing to prosper and the number of HNWI's on the rise, the property industry is going to go from strength-to-strength."
Dubrovnik has recently been added to an expanded service of flights by Jet2.com between the UK and Croatia.
The carrier will now fly from Leeds Bradford airport to the Dalmatian city.
