The Slovak president has visited Croatia to open the first honorary consulate in the country.
Ivan Gasparovic travelled to the country on his first official visit in his presidential capacity.

He also made a visit to the country's chair of commerce in Zagreb to meet the chair Nadan Vidosevic and the city's mayor, Milan Bandic.
Slovakia is said to be currently supporting Croatia in its attempts to get European Union accession and North Atlantic Treaty Organisation membership.
Mr Gasparovic told the Croatian Times that his visit to the country is proof that Slovakia supports the move and is willing to cooperate with Croatia.
The source also reports the honorary consul is a Croatian wine producer called Antun Plancic.
