Two bedroom stone cottage with pool in Brela, Makarska Riviera
This delightful cottage is perched above the seaside resort of Brela, sitting just below the breathtaking mountain range that is present in this area known as the Makarska Riviera. Guests staying here will enjoy lovely views of the Croatian coast as well as Brac Island in the distance.
Guests park to the rear of the villa and descend a pathway which leads to steps which run down one side of the villa and into the front of the property. The cottage is divided in two with one side not in use and closed. The other part is offered as a cottage and an entrance on the ground floor leads directly into a double bedroom with en-suite toilet, sink and washing machine. Entry to the first floor is via steps located on the the other side of the cottage which lead up to a covered sea facing terrace with outdoor dining area. A door here leads into a studio room which features a kitchen, dining area, double bed and separate shower room.
Outside guests can enjoy the use of a nicely positioned 4mx3m pool and sunbathing terrace with further areas for outdoor eating as well as a BBQ area.
The cottage would suit a couple or family with older children as the two sleeping areas are not connected internally. It would also be suitable for friends accepting the sleeping arrangements as they are. Car hire is recommended at the property. The villa is situated some distance above the coastal road, nevertheless subdued car sounds can be heard from the pool area. The Makarska Riviera is popular with holidaymakers in view of its excellent child friendly beaches. There are plenty of activities within the region including white water rafting at the River Cetina near Omis and other water based activities. Visits to the nearby Biokovo National Park, peaking at a staggering 1500m, is also well worth a visit where guests can explore its fantastic hiking and biking trails.
