This recently restored stone villa with pool is set within a pretty garden in a beautiful part of the Istrian countryside. Decorated in a typical Istrian country style with exposed stone walls and oak beamed ceilings, the villa would suit a large family/two families travelling together or couples/friends who wish to experience the peace and quiet of rural Istria, yet be within easy reach of historical cities and beaches.

The property is approached along a paved drive from the country road and a pathway from the drive leads into the main walled garden which contains a swimming pool, BBQ and outdoor covered eating area as well as a range of Mediterranean plants including walnut and fig trees. Entrance to the property is from the garden and guests enter the house directly into an open plan kitchen diner lounge area much of which is furnished with elegant antique furniture originating from Vienna, there is also a separate shower room. The second floor features a twin bedroom with doors leading out onto a terrace, and a double bedroom opening onto a pretty balcony overlooking the pool and garden and offering distant sea views. There is also a family bathroom.

The nearby village of Sveti Lovrec is just a few minutes drive away where guests will find a post office, grocery shop and other restaurants nearby. Areas of interest within the area include the Medieval Hill top towns of Motovun and Groznjan as well as the seaside towns of Porec, Rovinj and Vrsar. A little further afield, the Brijuni islands, the Roman amphitheatre in Pula and a day trip to Venice are all recommended excursions that are available from this region.
