This impressive 19th century sea captains house occupies a stunning waterfront position in the seaside town of Orebic on the Peljesac Peninsula. Surrounded by a spacious terrace and shaded by mature trees, the villa has been lovingly restored with exposed stone walls, wooden beams and decorated throughout with choice antique furniture pieces. The villa would suit a family or group of friends looking for a beach side villa in the Peljesac region with easy access to restaurants and bars.
Guests enter the property from a quiet country lane located to the rear of the villa through a gate and down a short flight of steps onto the main terrace area. From here a set of French doors leads into the ground floor consisting of an open plan lounge with fireplace, dining area and partially separated kitchen to one side. The ground floor also contains a separate shower room and a further three sets of French doors leading back out onto the se facing terrace. The first floor, accessed by a spiral staircase, contains one double bedroom and one twin room both with sea views. A third large single bedroom and separate shower room with washing machine are also located on this level which also features a doorway leading back out to the country lane located to the rear of the villa. On the second floor (eaves) there is a daybed at the top of the stairs with a double bedroom to one side and bathroom to the other.
A beach house (PJ011) capable of sleeping up to four persons adjacent to the property can be rented in conjunction with the villa, subject to availability.
As well as the neighbouring pizzeria, Orebic has a number of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the property. Peljesac is a well established wine growing region and wine tasting is popular in this area. Opposite lies the island of Korcula with its historic old town of the same name. It is a 20 minutes ferry ride from Orebic to Korcula Island opposite on the car ferry or a 10 minute passenger boat ride straight into Korcula old town.
